"The Vietnamese Student Association of UCSD strives to promote and preserve the Vietnamese culture. We are dedicated to providing resources and a safe space for students to unite as a Vietnamese-American community. This organization is for nonprofit."

The Vietnamese Student Association at UCSD, established in 1977, has grown and progressed into an organization that exposes the Vietnamese culture through academics, social, cultural, and community events. Each year UCSD VSA strives to educate and help its members find an interest in the Vietnamese culture and encourage them to get involved with the community.
Our Four Pillars
Social
Meeting new people and building bonds with one another such as the ACE Program and House System
Community
Strive to create a supportive and cooperative community for those of Vietnamese and non-Vietnamese descent
Academic
Main priority of obtaining good grades and graduating within a reasonable amount of time
Cultural
Stay in touch with cultural roots through our events such as Vietnamese Culture Night and Black April
VSA is one of UCSD's largest cultural organizations striving to create long-lasting bonds and friendships between its members through frequent events and socials.

Hey everyone! Welcome to the UCSD VSA family :D My name is Bao and I'm honored to serve as your president for the upcoming year. Over the summer, my dedicated cabinet has been hard at work, preparing an exciting lineup of events that we can't wait to share with y'all. UCSD VSA is more than just a cultural student organization; it's a vibrant community filled with warm-hearted, supportive, and incredible individuals. VSA has been and will always be a second family, offering both a sense of belonging and an incredible support network throughout my journey at UCSD. Lifelong friendships have blossomed as we've come together to celebrate Vietnamese culture. If you're looking for a place where you can connect with like-minded peers, explore your passion for Vietnamese culture, and create lasting memories, then you've found it!
