VSA’s House System offers smaller scale events and bonding activities within established subgroups to more easily meet new people and make friends.

 

The House System was created to provide members smaller sub-groups within VSA to easily meet new people, attend more close-knit events, and create memories with newfound friends. Houses can be compared to UCSD’s colleges or the Hogwarts Houses. Unlike fams within the ACE program, houses change annually to allow members to consistently bond with new groups and experience different events. Each house is guided by 2 house parents that oversee house members and create quarterly events for their respective house, including “collab” events with other houses. Throughout the year, houses compete in gaining the most house points to claim the grand prize at the end of the year. House is an amazing opportunity for members to create lasting friendships and comfortably meet new people through smaller events.
